What it means to be Canadian!

To be Canadian is to survive harsh cold winters and hot summers. Our Country is well known for our hockey and many other sports. We held the 2010 winter Olympics in Vancouver. Canada won its first gold medal at an Olympic games it hosted. Canada also finshed first in gold medal wins and became the first host nation since Norway in 1952 to lead the gold medal with 14. We are seen as a compassionate nation. Canada has participated in providing both finicial and hum aid to struggling third world Countries. Canada has some of the most beautiful lakes and wilderness areas to camp and hunt. The Government is based on a democracy in which politicians are elected by the citizens in Canada. Canada is full of free open land ranging from the Praires to the beautiful Mountains. We have an outstanding healthcare system. Canadians are amazing from the way out Country shapes us!
